The EM4505 is a Concurrent Dual Band AC1200 Router. This means that you can use both the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz frequency at the same time. Despite the wider range of the 2.4GHz frequency, this band is very crowded and can endure many interferences. By using the 5GHz band you will have a cleaner frequency with less interferences.
